Art Major is the richest performer by Brittany's legendary sire Artsplace, and much like his sire, he has proven to be as successful in the stud as he was on the racetrack.

After winning four stakes races in seven starts at 2, Art Major went on to dominate his division in the ensuing years, taking 20 wins as a 3-year-old and 8 of 11 as a 4-year-old. He won Dan Patch divisional honors at both 3 and 4 and was the sport's overall leading money-winner both years.

Now a World Champion sire, he has produced the winners of over $30-million from his first four racing crops and produced such great racehorses as Art Official, Santanna Blue Chip and Hypnotic Blue Chip. A prolific sire of juvenile speed, he has led all pacing sires in 2-year-old earnings every year since his first crop raced (through 2010).

Also like his sire, his yearlings have proven to be a hot commodity in the auction ring. Through 2010 he sired 25 yearlings that brought prices of $100,000 or more, and he has perennially ranked among the leading sires by yearling average since his first crop went through the sales ring.
