Brittany Farms’ second installment of in-foal broodmares for sale has proven quite popular among market breeders, as several top lots have already been sold, and only a handful of these high-quality mares remain available. (Click here for listing.)
The ones still available have all the necessary credentials to produce top-selling yearlings at the national level…and their foals would no doubt be marquee attractions at regional sales.
Several will be foaling over the next month, and the foals they’ll drop include youngsters from the first crop of Lucky Chucky, the second crops of Well Said and Explosive Matter, and from other top sires like red-hot American Ideal and Cantab Hall, the latter number one among all U.S. sires in $100,000 winners and 2:00 2-year-old trotters in 2011.
