This October, at the Lexington Selected Yearling Sale, Brittany Farms will sell Vimy Ridge, a Pennsylvania-eligible Tom Ridge colt.

So what’s the importance of that, other than he’s another top Brittany yearling? Well, his half-sister, Stage Show 3,1:54.3 (Broadway Hall-Flirtin My Way), in only her fifth career start, captured her elimination for the $750,000 Hambletonian Oaks at the Meadowlands. That’s one BIG pedigree update!

Stage Show, bred and raised by Brittany Farms and sold as a yearling at the 2006 Lexington Selected Sale, opened her account with a second at Chester Downs in early June and has since reeled off four straight impressive victories. Best of luck to owners Arlene & Jules Siegel and to trainer Jim Campbell as they head into the rich and prestigious Oaks Final.

More big 2YO stakes winners for Brittany sires

Four Starzzz Shark’s first crop is certainly making heads turn, as his most recent stakes winner is the year’s fastest 2-year-old filly pacer to date, Girls Nite Out p,2,1:51.4, who made a very strong statement winning her elimination for next week’s $425,000 Sweetheart Pace Final at the Meadowlands. Chalk up another as the Sharks are really starting to surface.

Real Desire also continues to blast freshman stakes winners, as his freshman son Chief Of The Beach p,2,1:54.3 took his second stakes win in just as many starts with a score in the Dream Maker Series at Mohawk. He won the Bud Light at Flamboro prior to that.

The Artiscape freshman filly She’s A Fan p,2,1:55.2 remains undefeated through four career starts after another score in the Whenuwishuponastar Series, also at Mohawk.

Congratulations and continued good fortune to all!
