Bettor's UpBettor’s Up p,3,1:49.4 ($374,437), bred, raised and sold as a yearling by Brittany Farms, took the lead early and never gave it up as she won the $440,000 Fan Hanover Stakes Final on Mohawk’s big North America Cup card last Saturday. (Watch race)

Her time of 1:49.4 was not only a career best, but also the fastest mile paced this year by a 3-year-old filly.

The Pennsylvania-bred is a daughter of Bettor’s Delight and from the multiple stakes winning mare Fresh Idea. She is owned by Bradley Grant, Teresa Davidson and Michelle McEneny, and trained by Michelle’s husband, Scott.

Brittany congratulates all of Bettor’s Up’s connections, and wishes them further success in the stakes that lie ahead.

Now with the Fan Hanover on her ledger, Bettor’s Up’s career earnings stand at more than $374,000. She has won half of her 16 lifetime starts that include such 2-year-old stakes as the Eternal Camnation at Mohawk and three Pennsylvania Sires.

She is yet another prime example of the value that can be found in every Brittany Farms yearling—up and down the shedrow—as her trainer purchased her for $15,000 from the farm’s consignment at the 2015 Lexington Selected Sale.

Lots could still be in store for her dam Fresh Idea, as her next two foals, including a 2017 yearling, are both colts by two-time Dan Patch champion Captaintreacherous.
