Sunshine Delight

The list of stakes winners bred, raised and sold as yearlings by Brittany Farms keeps growing day by day for the year’s #1 breeder in average earnings per starter. Now, it’s Sunshine Delight in the $160,000 Moni Maker.

Sunshine Delight 3,1:53.1 ($305,567) won this 3-year-old filly trot on Sept. 22 on Hoosier Park’s big night of stakes action, and lowered her lifetime mark and increased her career earnings to more than $300,000 in doing so. (Watch Race)

Sold by Brittany at the 2015 Lexington Selected Yearling Sale, the daughter of Credit Winner-On The Bright Side was a stakes winner at 2 and finished third in last year’s Breeders Crown Final to top-ranked Ariana G.

She has been competitive among the very best fillies this year as well for owner James Wilhite Jr. and trainer Staffan Lind, and finally broke through with a major stakes win of her own in the Moni Maker.

Brittany congratulates her connections and wishes them continued success as the stakes calendar turns to Lexington and the Red Mile’s Grand Circuit meet.

And speaking of Lexington, if you’re in town early for the meet, we invite you to call ahead and visit Brittany’s new farm for a personal, pre-sale inspection of our yearlings. (See roster and videos).

We know—and think you’ll agree—that they’re the best-looking and most athletic group we’ve ever had. And that says a lot!
