Not only did he win the second leg of the Presidential Series convincingly and in the fastest mile of the night (1:49.1)…Vintage Master did so with the great determination, courage and raw speed that’s been so typical of this World Champion pacer. And if you don’t take our word for it, just have a look for yourself. > Watch race video

Trainer Jimmy Takter calls Vintage Master his “favorite horse,” and part of the reason for that is this horse’s great desire to win. With Daniel Dube at the controls last Saturday at the Meadowlands, Vintage Master came first over into a :54.3 half and powered past the field to post a 1:49.1 win on a 25 degree night. And most impressively, he tacked on a sizzling :26.1 final quarter to secure the victory.

Next Saturday’s $110,500 Presidential Final, part of a big night of stakes finals at the “new” Meadowlands,  will be the last race for Vintage Master before he begins his new career as a stallion at Winbak Farm of Canada.

With his status as a double millionaire ($2,152,113) and double World Champion (1:48.4f-1:48.1f)--along with his royal pedigree and reasonable stud fee ($3,500 Cdn.)--Vintage Master is sure to attract the attention of serious commercial breeders on both sides of the border.

No jurisdiction has a stronger program right now than Ontario, and Vintage Master’s offspring will be destined to have a big impact in that rich program and in the open stakes throughout North America.

For a detailed look at his racing career and pedigree, visit his stallion page here on the website, where you’ll also find his race videos, free hypothetical mating reports and a 2012 booking application.
