Six PackSix Pack 2,1:55.4f; 3,1:50 ($849,840), bred, raised and sold as a yearling by Brittany Farms, added the second jewel of trotting’s Triple Crown to his glowing resume as he won Saturday’s $500,000 Yonkers Trot by nearly 8 lengths. (Watch Race)

The son of Muscle Mass-Pleasing Lady (Cantab Hall) edges ever closer to becoming the 37th millionaire bred by Brittany or Brittany & Partners.

A New York Sire Stakes Champion at 2, Six Pack has trotted on this season to win six of nine starts that include a division of the Stanley Dancer Memorial, the Empire Breeders Classic and an elimination of the $500,000 Earl Beal Memorial (2nd in final).

Six Pack was purchased by his part-owner and trainer Ake Svanstedt from Brittany’s draft at the 2016 Lexington Selected Sale for what is now a bargain $30,000. Svanstedt’s partners on this now-classics winner include Jeff Gural’s Little E LLC, Stall Kalmar FF and Lars Berg.

Brittany wishes continued good luck to his connections as they head toward the $225,000 New York Sire Stakes Final on Sept. 22 at Yonkers Raceway.

You could well find your own Triple Crown contender among Brittany’s 2018 yearlings, selling at the Lexington Selected Sale on Oct. 2-6. Click here to see the roster and each horse’s “live” pedigree.

Yearling videos will be available soon.
