The current crop of 2-year-olds bred by Brittany Farms—the first crop completely raised at the “new” farm—have gotten their racing careers off to a blazing start!

Through June 11—in just the the first two weeks of baby races—there have been seven 2-year-old winners that have come from Brittany, including the early season’s co-fastest freshman trotter Don’t Let’em 2,1:55, who wowed those in attendance when he won his first start in the first week of baby races at the Meadowlands in 1:55 flat.

Six of the seven winners were sold as yearlings last fall by Brittany Farms or Brittany Farms & Partners. Five of the seven are by first-crop sires, showing that Captaintreacherous, Father Patrick and Trixton appear—at this stage of the game—to be the real deal when it comes to siring ability.
