Don't Let'emDonít Letíem 2,1:51.4; 3,1:51.3 ($254,367), bred, raised and sold as a yearling by Brittany Farms, served notice that heís back among the top contenders for this yearís million-dollar Hambletonian after a sensational performance at the Meadowlands last Friday night.

The Nancy Johansson colorbearer trotted the second-fastest mile by a 3-year-old this season, winning by four widening lengths in 1:51.4ówithout ever being asked for speed. The only sophomore trotter with a faster mark this year is the top-rated Greenshoe.

Donít Letíem, by Muscle Hill-Passageway, won four of his first six starts last year at 2 and took home the trophy in the $422,350 Peter Haughton Memorial on Hambo Day, which he won in seasonís, stakes and track record time of 1:51.4.

He was the sportís no. 1-rated freshman trotter for most of the summer, but breaking issues came into play that caused him to lose more than one race after his high speed had enabled him to lose contact with the rest of the field.

With clear sailing hopefully ahead, he should be a force to be reckoned with in the major stakes to come.

Brittany Farms, which bought in as a partner, sends our best wishes to fellow owners Christina Takter, John Fielding and Herb Liverman. We hope to share in a successful season with this regally-bred and highly talented colt.
