The Brittany Farms yearlings selling at the Lexington Selected Sale, Oct. 5-9, will be shipped to the Fasig-Tipton sale grounds Friday, Oct. 2 and will be available for inspection beginning Saturday morning, Oct. 3.

 

The Brittany yearlings will be in their usual location, Barn 10.

 

Prior to Friday, prospective buyers are welcome to call the farm in Versailles, Ky. at (859) 873-3878 to arrange for an in-person inspection before the horses are shipped.

Brittany’s 20-head consignment is the epitome of the farm’s “quality over quantity” slogan, with the group being led by a quartet of yearlings from the highly-anticipated first crop of World Champion Walner, including two colts from royally-bred Muscle Hill mares.

 

The trotters also include three colts by Father Patrick, led by a half-brother to $500,000 winner Wolfgang 3,1:51.2, which Brittany sells as agent.

 

Arrive at the sale early on opening night so that you don’t miss Hip No. 3 Captain Cook, as he has the pedigree to get things of to a fast start—he’s a Captaintreacherous colt who’s a close relative to the great American Jewel and to superstar pacer and young stallion Bettor’s Wish.
