Six Pack, Manchego join our Hall Of Fame

February 20, 2020

The trotters that finished 1-2 in the final classic race of the 2019 season—the $350,000 TVG Open Trot Final at the Meadowlands—are the newest additions to the Brittany Farms website’s Hall of Fame. (Click to view)

Those 1-2 finishers, Six Pack and Manchego, join Artsplace, Father Patrick, American Jewel and 18 others in a tribute to the great horses bred or raced by Brittany Farms.

The new HOF members—both of them bred, raised and sold as yearlings by Brittany—are long on accolades; they represent a three-time World Champion male trotter and the fastest female trotter in history.

Six Pack, a Dan Patch Champion at both 3 and 4, is the fastest 3-year-old trotter of all time and set another World Record last fall at 4, before closing out his racing career with his victory in the TVG Final.

Manchego, an undefeated Dan Patch Champion at 2 and Hambletonian Oaks winner at 3, scored her second Breeders Crown triumph last year while becoming the fastest trotting filly or mare ever on both mile (1:49) and 5/8-mile (1:50.1f) tracks.

Both horses are also among the 40 members of the farm’s Millionaires Row.

Six Pack’s ledger totals $1,939,604, while Manchego has made $2,123,730. Brittany congratulates their connections, and hopes both horses enjoy continued success in their future endeavors.
